Justin’s Guitars:
Late 80s Aria Pro II TA30

A Japanese version of the ES335 style, though slightly shrunk down and stretched out. Probably most famous in the hands of Rat from Ned's Atomic Dustbin, the TA series is kind of a sleeper in the collector world; they're quite well built and have a distinct sound that is not as warm as a proper 335. They inherently sound kinda fizzy, honestly, but in a really cool way. The only Amoebas recording to feature it is "Boys Don't Cry".
Mid 90s Fender Duo Sonic short scale (similar model pictured)

A reissue of a student model, these were very affordable and pretty small. Since Justin is a shorter guy, this was a great fit for him, and it had the Fender tone in a very compact package. Not used on any recordings, but seen on the one gig he played with the band.
Justin’s Amp:
Early 90s KMD SG-SR60 Combo (similar model pictured)

The actual model number may have been different, but matching the features indicates that it was one of these. This was an affordable line of amps released by Kaman industries, the parent company of Ovation and Takamine, and the main distributor for Everyday Music in Farmington, Maine where this was purchased (along with a matching footswitch).
